Holly Street Day Care Center was founded in 1983 in response to a growing need for quality childcare in the East Nashville community, an area once considered a "blighted slum area" by the Federal Government. Holly Street took this characterization and made it a foundation to build upon, by working with the area churches and other organizations to improve the area surrounding the center. Holly Street was Nationally Accredited in 1993, became a United Way agency in 1999, and was rated a 3 Star Center by the state of Tennessee in 2002.
The best thing you can give your child is YOU--your knowledge, time, attention, and love. When you can't be there for some reason, let your child come to Holly Street Day Care. Let us help to raise your child in a caring, happy atmosphere. Special attention is given to the teacher/child ratio, so each child's needs are met. We offer quality learning programs with an individualized curriculum that develops each child's values, attitudes, social skills, and education.
A major part of our educational program is found in the "extras" we offer. Meaningful field trips and professionally taught dance, Spanish, and music classes are examples of what makes Holly Street Day Care exciting, progressive and interesting. Our large, fully-equipped playground provides hours of fun and enjoyment for our children.
